Hi, and welcome to CLSS! Below are a few things that may help you before or after you rent a unit from us:
1. How do I rent a unit online?
Renting a unit online is fairly straightforward, and should only take about ten minutes. First, click on the "Click Here To Book Online Now" Button. On the next screen, you can select a unit. Once you have selected a unit, click on the "Rent Now" button. You will be asked for all of the same information that we (or any other storage facility) would gather from you if you were renting in person. Once your account is set up, you will be taken to your own account page. From there, click on the "Rent Unit" button. Your chosen unit has already been saved, and the amount of your billing will show at the bottom. Click on the "Confirm and Pay" button, AND THAT IS IT! You are done! We will receive confirmation of your rental, and we will expect a call from you (we must give you the combination to the padlock to open your unit). YOU CAN THEN MOVE IN IMMEDIATELY!! Please note: We only accept calls, and return your calls, for unlock instructions between the hours of 8:00AM and 6:00PM, seven days a week.
2. Why am I being asked to pay for a partial month plus a full month? I only want the unit for 30 days max!
The system is set up to pro-rate the first month billing; if you select a $35 unit on the last day of the month, you would be charged for only $1.13 for the "first" month, plus the next full month. IF YOU ARE CERTAIN YOU ONLY WANT A 30 DAY RENTAL, AND THE PRO-RATION PLUS FULL MONTH DOES NOT WORK FOR YOU, PLEASE JUST CALL FIRST! We can usually make immediate arrangements to accommodate special requests, and have you moved in quickly and easily.
3. When and how will my deposit be refunded? Some places take forever to give refunds! I hate giving a deposit that I may never see again!
This is very understandable, and we make it easy. In many cases, we can provide a cash refund the same day of move-out! NO OTHER SELF STORAGE COMPANIES OFFER THAT! If you notify us with a proper move-out notice, and let us know when you will be at the facility to move-out, in most cases we can meet you on site, inspect the unit for "broom clean" status, and give you a refund of any money due to you on the spot. If for some reason we can't meet you that day, we will strive to meet you at a convenient time. In all cases, if you have kept the rules and cleaned your unit, we will have a check to you within 30 days, no more!
OUR GOAL IS HAPPY CUSTOMERS. We want repeat business, and referrals from existing customers! We will gladly provide prompt, full refunds as long as all payments are current, and move-out is done properly and on time.
4. If I want to sell some things from my unit, how do I do that?
Sales of any type from rented units are not allowed! Sorry.
5. But you have a park-and-sell program...isn't that the same thing as selling something from the unit?
No, it is not the same thing. The storage contract is completely different from the park-and-sell agreement. For park-and-sell, the customer is renting an open-air parking space in a designated area away from the storage units. Rules limit any advertising to signs inside the car, and the vehicle must be approved for park-and-sell in advance. There is a time limit on how long a vehicle can be offered on-site, then it must be moved, or it will be towed.
